May i present, the newly converted Guards Commanders!

"Guardsmen Warriors"

SUMMEX is finally over! I'm back with new found CONFIDENCE! I'm finally gonna lead men! No more being a trainee! =)

Base on the things ppl told me bout their SUMMEX and i compare mine to theirs, i certainly think tt mine, might not be as tough as theirs. But certainly more learning values in them. First 3 missions was in Lim Chu Kang area. Did an assault, quick attack and then defence. Although not the appointment holders, but the way we attack the objectives with the specialist does make the attack more meaningful. Learning from them while also giving them our own input. But lack of sleep makes the handing and taking over of stores a hassle. The specialist just dun gif a damn! So pek cek~ I feel that only the officers are afraid of losing stores. Which is weird! In the end, i think a few of the specialist did lose something.

PC for OOTW mission. Total screwed up! Firstly, no orders were given to me. But instead i need to do AOP with my OC. Den give my orders to my specs. My AOP screwed me up the most i guess. CO and S3 around assessing me. Didn't do myself any favour... should have found out more bout the mission but no time.

Finishing all the mission on friday, den have to casevac from the DOGBA bridge back to jetty. Not too bad, but just angry tt a lot of specs are just skiving through... Thought that the rumoured march from SFT to Bedok camp is cancel cos we even did our AAR already. But ended up still being asked to unload from the tonner halfway through the journey. The march wasn't exactly tough, just feeling sleepy, hungry(din eat dinner) and of cos fatigue from the previous 5 days. Think my knee cui liao... The ceremony was quite meaningful~ Can see the effort put in by the instructors. I will think back of the tough times i've went through, and tell myself... thats what makes a Guardsmen different from an infantrymen.

Going for LSA interview tomorrow~ Gonna prepare later. Wish me luck!! The car i'm looking for is still quite ex for me lei. Any rich kid wanna buy it to me as birthday present? wahaha!

"Who want to give up?"

Did the Guards Assault Course today. Phew~ Finally its over... Memories of cadet days came flooding back. Always pushing each other on inspite of fatigue, weather condition and sickness. But when motivation doesn't seems to work... words like, "Who want to give up?" and "The safety rover is just behind." filled the air. Maybe its an OCS way of motivating each other. But whenever we hear this, there will always be an extra energy coming from within ourselves to push on towards the finishing line. No one is willing to give up... no one is willing to let our buddy beside us down.

One more week to my Khaki beret!! One last week of hell week before i get ready for the real thing! 5 days, 6 missions, 2 helicopters, 100 concertina wires... Can i make it? Will there be Charlie Mike? Uncertainties all over the place, but one thing is for sure, i must pull through!!!
